In today’s world, the reality of the first due chauffeur is “5 minutes of chaos”. After arriving safely, we must position the rig for success, assist with the stretch, begin establishing a water supply, and fill in any gaps that still haven’t been filled. Regardless of what you call them; the First Due Chauffeur can make or break your entire operation.
In this course, we want to give you the street smart skills you need to operate as an effective chauffeur. We will focus on using the chauffeur to fill-in the gaps for “short staffed” fire companies. Using several interactive drills, we will review the skills it takes to adequately perform at this assignment.
