There are many old school traditions to keep alive in the fire house. One of the most important is the KITCHEN TABLE. This is the place where we break bread with fellow firefighters, solve the department’s problems, have coffee, tell the best stories, and sometimes shed a tear or two. We also have all had our fair share of conflict at the kitchen table. When you are a family, that is what happens. Join us as we utilize this powerful training tool and gather around the “Kitchen Table”. At the fire house table, there’s no titles or rank. This is an opportunity to sit down and have a conversation, and not just a lecture. We will have a room full of older members to bring experience to the table, and new members to bring enthusiasm and education. We will discuss strategy and tactics, staffing issues, LODD’s, and so much more. Whether you’re a “Ghetto Fireman” or part of the “Redneck Regime”, there’s something for you in this class. Come have a cup of coffee, a glass of southern sweet tea, a Diet Mt. Dew, or whatever your beverage of choice is, and some much needed fellowship.
